The taste of good old-fashioned lemonade has found a home at Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages. Country Time® Lemonade Flavor Drink is still one of consumers’ favorite lemonades.

The first Country Time Lemonade Drink Mix was introduced in 1975 by Kraft Foods as a powder mix. It was first marketed through television ads using a character named “Grandpa,” “a judge of good old-fashioned taste.” Country Time Drink Mix has become one of the top-selling lemonade product sold through grocery, mass merchandiser and convenience stores. Country Time Lemonade Drink Mix currently has 10 flavors.

In 1981, Kraft Foods issued a license to A&W Beverages, Inc. to market and produce ready-to-drink Country Time in bottles and cans. The first Country Time Lemonade Flavor Drink hit the market in 1982 in 12-ounce cans and 1-liter bottles.
