Snapple
The Best History on Earth
Snapple is the market leader in the premium beverage business. Founded in Brooklyn, NY, Snapple was originally known as Unadulterated Food Corporation. The founders were Leonard Marsh, Hyman Golden and Arnold Greenberg.

Snapple was sold to Triarc Companies, Inc. in 1997. Snapple Beverage Group was purchased by London-based Cadbury Schweppes plc, from Triarc Companies, Inc. in October 2000

Snapple’s well -known tagline is “Made from the best stuff on earth”. Snapple's popular array of all-natural (except diets) beverages contain no preservatives, no artificial flavorings and no chemical dyes. Snapple has used real fruit flavors and real tea exclusively since 1972 - a statement no other major soft drink producer can make.

Many Snapple drinkers are pleased to know that the "circle K" on the label indicates that the beverage is kosher-certified. Twenty-six Snapple flavors are kosher-certified. The Organized Kashrus Laboratories oversees these beverages.

Snapple produces drinks in four categories: Juice Drinks, Teas, Lemonades, and Diets. In 1983 Snapple introduced a line of all-natural sodas and seltzers, followed by their first fruit drink line in 1986 and first tea line in 1987.

What’s in a Name? Snapple is named after a carbonated apple soda that was part of the original beverage line.
