PLANO, TEXAS (September 8, 2005) - - With the help of Federal Express and “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages (CSAB) and Dr Pepper/Seven Up Bottling Group successfully delivered more than 300,000 units of water and other products to hurricane evacuees throughout the Southeast earlier this week. This adds to the close to 1 million individual servings of water, sauce, teas and juices that CSAB, along with its bottler partners, have already provided to victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Plano, Texas-based company will continue to provide help where needed.

Currently, CSAB is conducting the following relief efforts among colleagues:

• CSAB & The American Red Cross - - CSAB has established a fund for employees interested in donating to the American Red Cross. CSAB will match each dollar donated by colleagues.
• One Day’s Pay - - Recognizing that many local and national relief organizations are in need of volunteers, CSAB encourages employees to donate their time to local relief efforts through One Day’s Pay - - a CSAB program allowing colleagues the opportunity to volunteer in the community during working hours.

Additionally, several CSAB employees have suffered significant property damage – or have lost their homes entirely – due to the devastating hurricane. In response, the company is supporting individuals through the Cadbury Schweppes Americas Employee Relief Fund to provide cash and temporary housing to colleagues in need. Employees worldwide may contribute to this fund and the company will match each dollar donated.
